§ Sir G. CAVEMy attention has been drawn to the statement, but I have no reason to think that it is accurate, or makes any approach to accuracy. Prostitutes of alien enemy birth, if they retained their enemy nationality, would certainly be deported, and I believe that all German women known to be prostitutes have been deported already. There is no power to deport women of enemy birth who may have become British subjects by marriage.
