HC Deb 12 February 1917 vol 90 cc259-60
77. Mr. NIELD

asked the hon. Member for Sheffield (Central Division) whether, since the publication of the Food Controller of his scheme for voluntary rationing, any and, if so, what alteration has been made in dietary scales for German prisoners of war or the alien enemies interned in the United Kingdom; and, in particular, will he state the old and the revised scales of dietary in respect of meat, bread, and sugar?

105. Colonel BURN

asked if the scale of food served out to German prisoners and interned Germans in this country is strictly in conformance with that laid down by the Food Controller?

Mr. JAMES HOPE

A Committee, on which all Departments of State concerned in the question are represented, is considering the change to be made in the rations of prisoners of war, in view of the pronouncement made by the Food Controller.
