asked the Minister of Munitions whether the Ministry has by Order prescribed the rates of wages for women engaged in making ammunition boxes and other wooden articles required for use in war; and, if not, whether he proposes taking such steps?

Order 313, prescribing rates for women on woodwork, including the making of ammunition boxes, was. made on 30th March, 1917, and applied to-controlled establishments in the woodwork trade with effect from 16th April, 1917.
