HC Deb 25 April 1917 vol 92 c2386
41. Mr. MALLALIEU

asked the Minister of Munitions whether, in a certain area in Yorkshire, considerable extensions to a works for the preparation of cotton for munition purposes have been in progress; whether these have now been stopped; and, if so, why; and can he state the cost of these extensions to date?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of MUNITIONS (Mr. Kellaway)

The answers to the first and second questions are in the affirmative. I am making further inquiries to enable me to answer the latter part of the question, the result of which I will communicate to the hon. Member.
