asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give an early opportunity for discussing the salary of the First Lord of the Admiralty, in order that the House may express an opinion as to the treatment by the Admiralty of certain captains in the merchant service?

Mr. BONAR LAW

Perhaps my hon. Friend will repeat his question after the House reassembles.

Mr. CHURCHILL

I presume that if the salary of the First Lord of the Admiralty is put down, there are other subjects besides the one mentioned by my hon. Friend open for discussion?

Mr. BONAR LAW

That presumption is certainly correct.
