Mr. SNOWDENasked the Secretary of State for War if he will stop the practice of the recruiting officer at Kingston-on-Thames of advertising the names and addresses of alleged absentees from military service of men whose present whereabouts are well known to him and of men who are known by him to have certificates of exemption?
§ Mr. FORSTERIf the hon. Member will quote specific instances, in which the recruiting officer concerned advertised the names of alleged absentees, well knowing the whereabouts of the men, or that they held certificates of exemption, inquiries will be made.
