111. Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTTasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he has now received further particulars of the price of 1s. 6d. per gallon charged by dairy farmers for milk delivered in Glasgow; and whether he proposes to take any local action?
§ Mr. PRETYMANI am informed that the price of 1s. 6d. asked by dairy farmers for milk supplied to Glasgow dairymen relates to milk delivered on the buyer's premises, in quantities subject to variation only within agreed limits. I shall make a further statement on milk prices later in to-day's proceedings.
