DALZIELasked the Home Secretary whether it is with his authority and approval that automatic machines are being placed in the vicinity of the small shops closed after eight o'clock under his recent Order for the purpose of supplying cigars, cigarettes, and confectionery; and whether he proposes taking any steps in the matter?
Mr. SAMUELI have no information that automatic machines are being placed in the vicinity of shops as suggested, but if my right Hon. Friend will furnish me with particulars of the cases brought to his notice I will make inquiry.
