asked the Under-Secretary of State for War if wounded soldiers, after being in hospital for weeks, and in some instances months, are sent again to the front without an opportunity of leave to visit home; and if such action is in accordance with orders?

Mr. TENNANT

Under the instructions in force, when a man is passed fit for duty or for light duty, he is granted a furlough of ten days to proceed to his home.
