(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister what steps the Government had taken with regard to sending a relief expedition to rescue Sir Ernest Shackleton and his companions?

The PRIME MINISTER

A Committee has been appointed by the Admiralty to advise as to the necessary measures, and in due course Parliament will be invited to provide the necessary funds for the early dispatch of the Relief Expedition.
