HC Deb 22 May 1916 vol 82 c1793
30. Sir PHILIP MAGNUS

asked the President of the Board of Education whether the Board have under consideration any new Regulations for technical or evening and other continuation schools; and, if so, whether local education authorities will be afforded the opportunity of considering, before the issue of the Regulations, any changes of importance which the Board have in view?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD OF EDUCATION (Mr. Herbert Lewis)

The answer to both parts of the question is in the affirmative. The new Regulations are still in the stage of a preliminary draft, but the Board hope soon to be in a position to issue a revised draft for criticism and discussion.
