§ Mr. BRACEIt is the urgent wish of the naval and military authorities that all officers shall observe the law with respect to the speed of motor cars, and this has been enjoined on officers by orders from the Army Council. The duty of the police is to ensure the general observance of the law, and their action in this matter is necessary.
