asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) whether arangements are being made to enable the live-stock market to be held in Dublin next Thursday, the 11th instant; and whether it is intended to hold the Council of Agriculture meeting as already arranged on the same date?

The Department understand that arrangements are being made to hold the Dublin live-stock market on Thursday, the 11th instant. As already intimated individu- ally to the members of the Council of Agriculture, the meeting of that Council, which had been fixed for the 11th instant, has been postponed.
