Mr. KINGasked the Prime Minister whether he can promise that at an early date after the Whitsuntide Recess the House will be informed as to the proposals of the Government either for prolonging the life of this Parliament or, alternatively, for holding a General Election; and whether he will consider whether any Government statement of policy on these subjects can be made so as to be capable of discussion in this House?
§ 51. Mr. R. McNEILLasked the Prime Minister whether he has yet decided to introduce a Registration Bill in time to secure that the Parliamentary Register shall be revised before the legal term of the present Parliament expires in September?
