HC Deb 31 July 1916 vol 84 c2058
58. Mr. DILLON

asked the Prime Minister whether he will direct the military authorities to restore to Mrs. Skeffington all the property taken from her house and from the body of her husband?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am informed that all property removed by military or police from the house of the late Mr. Sheehy-Skeffington, or from his person after death, have, as far as can be ascertained, been returned. The military authorities hold receipt for two boxes, seven sacks of papers and effects, dated 16th June, signed for by Cait Sheehy, 30, Dartmouth Square. If my hon. Friend's information differs from mine and he will forward me particulars, I shall be glad to make further inquiry.

Mr. DILLON

I will present a statement to the right hon. Gentleman.
