Mr. KINGasked the President of the Board of Education whether, as a result of the Fee Grant being payable only for scholars up to fifteen years of age and the other elementary school Grants being payable on scholars up to sixteen years, he has observed the amount of extra work involved in keeping separate registers, making separate returns, and calculating separate sums in schools with children over fifteen; and whether, in order to save time, labour, and complicated calculations, he will seek legislative powers to raise the age for Fee Grant to sixteen years?
