9. Mr. JOWETT

asked the Secretary of State for War, concerning the treatment of William Henry Scott, described in the Army records as Private Scott, No. 27054, G Company, 3rd Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, who attested on 10th December last, was medically examined on 13th December following, and was rejected, whereupon he duly returned his 2s. 9d., was afterwards called up and his rejection paper, which he then and there presented, was torn up in his presence and he was sent straight into the Army on the same day, whether he intends to take any action in regard to the case?
