HC Deb 21 February 1916 vol 80 cc436-7
40. Colonel the EARL of KERRY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury how it was that the administrative expenses of the Road Board, as shown in the Fifth Annual Report, rose from £43,135 in 1913–14 to £60,155 in 1914–15; and whether any economy in these expenses has been made during the current year?

The figures quoted represent the aggregate administrative expenses of the Board from 1910 to the end of 1913–14 and 1914–15 respectively, and not the expenses of these two years. Some economies have been effected in the current year.
