(by Private Notice) asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions whether the Government has decided to take over all or some of the patent-still and pot-still distilleries for the period of the War; whether terms have been arranged or whether negotiations are in progress; and whether special legislation is required?

My right hon. Friend is answering a question on this subject to-morrow. In these circumstances I shall be glad if my hon. Friend will postpone his question.
