asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether legislation will be introduced early in this Session conferring on the Board powers to acquire agricultural land, as recommended by the Departmental Committee appointed to consider the settlement and employment on the land of discharged sailors and soldiers?

asked whether the Government intends to take steps to carry out the recommendation of the Departmental Committee to consider the settlement of soldiers and sailors on the land, that the Board of Agriculture should be given powers to acquire land for the purpose of settling ex-Service men and to improve, manage, and sell the land?
