HC Deb 14 December 1916 vol 88 cc852-3
Mr. PETO

(by Private Notice) asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can state what steps he proposes to take with regard to the position of Captain Blaikie, commander of the Anchor Line steamship "Caledonia," and whether he intends to make any communication with regard to the steps to be taken by His Majesty's Government in the event of the German Government deciding upon the judicial murder of this officer in the same way as Captain Fryatt?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I can say nothing more than that the Government have taken the action which they think necessary.
