asked the Home Secretary whether, in cases of aliens being accepted for enlistment in the Army, they will at once by that act become naturalised British subjects and assume the liabilities as well as the privileges incident thereto?

Mr. SAMUEL

I have already stated I am arranging facilities for the naturalisation of such aliens, and I hope in a few days to make a public statement in the matter.
