§ 33. Mr. WATTasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether his attention has been called to the fact that on the decease of a Scottish holder of War Loan stock details of the holding have for probate purposes to be sent by the trustees or executors to London, where substantial fees are charged by the agents so employed; if so, will he explain why this work cannot be undertaken by his Department in Scotland; and is he aware that these facts are having a deterrent effect in applications for War Loan being made in Scotland?
