HC Deb 23 September 1915 vol 74 cc559-60
44. Mr. RAMSAY MACDONALD

asked if the privilege of receiving railway passes from Friday till Sunday has been withdrawn from soldiers by a War Office order; and, if so, will he state why this step has been taken?

Mr. TENNANT

There has been no curtailment of the privileges in regard to leave, and no withdrawal of any concessions in regard to free Government railway warrants. What these concessions are was fully stated in a reply given to the hon. Member for the Attercliffe Division on the 17th June.
