§ Mr. BRACEYes, an inspection was recently made of a number of factories in these places, and certain sanitary defects discovered. The defects relate to matters within the jurisdiction of the district councils, and notices were at once sent to the council whose duty it is to have the defects remedied. The matter will be followed up and further inspection made very shortly.
