HC Deb 22 September 1915 vol 74 c438
7. Sir JOHN LONSDALE

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if it is the intention of the Imperial Government to take the responsible Ministers of all the Dominions into their confidence with reference to the conduct of the War; and if any steps have been taken in this direction?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am in continual communication with the Governments of the self-governing Dominions on matters relating to the War. Sir Robert Borden has recently been in this country, and His Majesty's Government have gladly taken advantage of his presence to have a full and confidential discussion with him. The Prime Ministers of the other Dominions have been made aware that, if circumstances make it possible for them to visit this country, His Majesty's Government would warmly welcome the opportunity of a similar discussion with them.
