HC Deb 16 September 1915 vol 74 c145
12. Mr. YEO

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will call the attention of the railway companies to the inadequate seating and waiting-room accommodation at several termini for soldiers waiting for their trains, notably on the railways south of the Thames?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

If my hon. Friend will let me know more precisely what stations he has in mind and how far he thinks the present accommodation defective I will look into the matter.

Mr. HOGGE

Will my right hon. Friend look into the question of providing seats in the trains for soldiers?
