HC Deb 14 September 1915 vol 74 c15
Mr. CHAPLIN

May I ask the Prime Minister if he can state what business he proposes to take to-morrow and during the rest of the week?

The PRIME MINISTER

To-morrow I shall move a Vote of Credit.

On Thursday we propose to take the Report of that Vote.

It will be for the convenience of the House if I add that we propose to sit three days a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Sir H. DALZIEL

Can the Prime Minister say whether he contemplates making any general statement on the military position, having regard to the fact that a statement is already promised for another place?

The PRIME MINISTER

I am going to move a Vote of Credit to-morrow, and I shall then review the situation.

Mr. HOGGE

Can the right hon. Gentleman tell us what is the position of the Naval and Military War Pensions Bill, and when we may expect to consider that?

The PRIME MINISTER

It is in the House of Lords at present.

Mr. HOGGE

Can the right hon. Gentleman say when it is coming down?

Mr. RONALD McNEILL

As the House is to sit three days a week will the right hon. Gentleman make the same arrangements in regard to notice of questions?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes.

Sir J. D. REES

Will the Prime Minister to-morrow deal with the question of recruiting?

The PRIME MINISTER

I cannot anticipate what I shall say to-morrow.
