Mr. BUTLER LLOYDasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if a number of portable dwellings for the housing of refugees in Belgium and Northern France are to be manufactured in the United States of America to the order of the British Government, thus taking a great amount of work abroad which could be done as well, as cheaply, and as quickly in this country; and if he is aware that there are a number of carpenters and joiners in this country above military age who are fearing unemployment during the coming winter?
