Mr. GINNELLasked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs for what purpose the Egyptian Government pays to Reuter's Agency in Cairo 1,500 Egpytian pounds a year; what is the total amount spent annually by the Egyptian Government in subsidising Press institutions in Egypt and in England; and whether His Majesty's Government will advise the Egyptian Government to stop all such payments, at least for the duration of the War, and to spend the money in relieving the starving Egyptians?
