HC Deb 13 October 1915 vol 74 cc1280-1
5. Mr. CURRIE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the practicability of arranging that in future issues of War Loans such special arrangements as now involve certain investors in the payment of a charge to the Bank of England to cover its trouble will be incorporated in the original prospectus terms, so as to be available to subscribers free of cost?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. McKenna)

I cannot undertake to give any pledge with regard to the terms on which any future War Loan may be issued.
