HC Deb 17 May 1915 vol 71 c1974
30. Mr. ANDERSON

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War how much money has been advanced for military pensions or payments from the National Relief Fund; how much of the money in question is a legitimate charge upon the War Office and the Treasury; how much of the money thus advanced has been repaid by the War Office to the National Relief Fund; and whether it is the intention to repay in full all the, advances made?

Mr. BAKER

The National Relief Fund is not under the administration of the War Office, and I am not in a position to state the amount of money advanced, but I am in communication with the committee of the fund on the subject of the repayment of legitimate charges.
