HC Deb 04 May 1915 vol 71 cc977-8
95. Sir JOHN LONSDALE

asked the Postmaster-General if he is in a position to name the arbitrators to whom the question of paying a war bonus to postal workers is to be submitted; and what classes of postal servants will be affected by these proceedings?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Hobhouse)

I hope to be able to make an announcement one day next week.

Sir J. LONSDALE

What class of postal servants will be affected by these proceedings?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

The request of the postal associations was made to me by letter and that letter will be submitted to the arbitrator, whoever he may be. I take it his decision will be limited to the classes named in that letter.
