HC Deb 04 March 1915 vol 70 c968
65. Colonel SANDERS

asked the Under-Secretary of State, for War if he is aware that in Yeomanry regiments an officer who has qualified at a school of musketry must be appointed assistant adjutant to assist in musketry training, but that he gets no extra pay while performing these duties, whereas in the Regular Cavalry an officer performing similar duties gets 3s. a day extra; and whether he will take steps to put the Yeomanry officer on the same footing in this respect as the Regular, seeing that the extra work entailed is the same in both cases?

Mr. BAKER

The appointment of an assistant adjutant for musketry in Yeomanry regiments is not recognised, and, therefore, no extra pay is admissible.
