HC Deb 02 March 1915 vol 70 cc646-7
29. Mr. NEWDEGATE

asked whether, in the event of married men being killed or disabled when in the service of the Red Cross Society or St. John's Ambulance Association, such service having been accepted by the War Office, arrangements will be made that they or their dependants shall receive the same provision as the Regular Forces of His Majesty's Army?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Harold Baker)

Many of these men have been enlisted and they and their dependants are entitled to the same provision as the Regular Army. The case of the unenlisted men is being considered.
