§ Mr. TENNANTI would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister gave on this subject on the 4th February to the hon. Member for Edinburgh East. I regret that, owing to the pressure of work and the labour involved in extracting the figures, it is not possible to furnish the hon. Member with a statement of the amount expended by the War Office.
