asked the Postmaster-General if he is aware of the inadequate accommodation for the transaction of public business at the post office at Houghton-le-Spring; and will he say what steps he intends to take to remedy the inconvenience suffered by the public, and when this will be done?

This matter has already been under report, and steps are being taken to ascertain whether improved accommodation can be obtained.
