§ Mr. TENNANTThose who wear glasses are not prevented from enlisting unless their eyesight is defective beyond a definite limit, such men are allowed to join the Army for certain definite purpose, such as drill instructors, shoeing smiths, Army Veterinary Corps, etc.
§ Colonel YATECould not men of this sort be well utilised in the Army Service Corps and other like occupations and so liberate men with better eyesight?
§ Mr. TENNANTThere are some utilised for that purpose. I would remind the hon. and gallant Gentleman that there are some services in the Army Service Corps definitely demanding good eyesight.
