HC Deb 05 July 1915 vol 73 cc12-3
16. Sir EDWIN CORNWALL

asked the Minister of Munitions if the names of the controlled establishments making munitions of war will be published; and, if so when and in what manner?

The MINISTER of MUNITIONS (Mr. Lloyd George)

I am considering this matter, and will communicate with my hon. Friend.

Mr. GEORGE TERRELL

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether and when orders are made controlling firms he will cause their names to be published. It will be a matter of great interest to the manufacturing community.

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

We have a preliminary list, but I should like to consider whether or not it should be published, and whether there may be any objection from a manufacturer's point of view, or from any other quarter.

Mr. W. THORNE

Will the right hon. Gentleman have the information published through the "Labour Gazette"?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

Full publicity will be given if it is found desirable to do so.
