HC Deb 05 July 1915 vol 73 c13
17. Mr. CATHCART WASON

asked the Minister of Munitions whether, in view of the numerous essentials connected with the output of munitions, he will suppress the sale of all alcoholic drink in all places where reasonable non-alcoholic refreshment is not obtainable, and where customers are not provided with reasonable seating room?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I would refer the hon. Member to the powers for controlling the sale of alcoholic drink, and for providing non-alcoholic refreshment, entrusted to the Central Control Board (Liquor Traffic), under the Regulations approved by Order in Council, on 10th June last.
