HC Deb 22 February 1915 vol 70 cc22-3
56. Sir FRANCIS LOWE

asked why it is that an officer in the Territorial Army who joined before the outbreak of War and has since volunteered for service abroad does not receive the same allowance for service uniform and kit as those officers who have joined since, the War broke out?

Mr. BAKER

Officers in the Territorial Force, having received such outfit grant as they were entitled to on entry, are then expected to maintain in a serviceable condition the necessary uniform and kit for active service.
