asked the number of cases of frost-bite among the troops of the Expeditionary Force; whether any and, if so, how many waterproof stockings or trench-waders have been furnished to such troops; and whether any oilskin coats to wear with the same have been supplied in place of the usual Army greatcoats?

Mr. TENNANT

The total casualties from frost-bite to 24th January last amount to 9,175. Large numbers of gum boots and similar articles and waterproof coats and capes have been provided, in addition to the usual Army boots and greatcoats.
