HC Deb 11 February 1915 vol 69 c755
Mr. BONAR LAW

May I ask the Prime Minister what the business will be next week?

The PRIME MINISTER

On Monday, at the beginning of Business, the Chancellor of the Exchequer will make a short statement as to the negotiations which have been going on with the Finance Ministers of France and Russia. Monday will be devoted to the Resolution moving the Speaker out of the Chair on the Navy Estimates.

On Tuesday we shall take the Navy Estimates, Votes A and I.

On Wednesday we shall take the Reports of the Army Votes and of the Supplementary Estimates, and, if time permit, and if there be a general desire in the House, a discussion on the question of the control of aliens.

On Thursday we shall take the Civil Service Vote on Account.

Mr. BONAR LAW

I suppose we can assume that if time is not available on Wednesday, other time will be given?

The PRIME MINISTER

If it be so desired.

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether the statement of the Chancellor of the Exchequer as to these negotiations will be made on a Motion?

The PRIME MINISTER

If the House desires to discuss it afterwards, we will give an opportunity.

Ordered, That the Proceedings on the Motion relating to Necessaries of Life (Prices) have precedence this day of the Business of Supply.—[The Prime Minister.]
