asked the Under-Secretary for War what is the outfit allowance for Regular and Territorial chaplains, respectively?

Mr. BAKER

There is no difference between Regular and Territorial chaplains in respect of outfit allowance. The amended rates which were laid down in Special Army Order of 17th January last are as follows: An initial grant of £10 and a further grant of £12 10s. where a chaplain is ordered for service in the field within the sphere of active operations. A camp kit grant of £7 10s. is allowed in addition.
