HC Deb 09 February 1915 vol 69 c399
50. Mr. WATT

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether any arrangement is made with the representative appointed in Glasgow by his Department to look after Army clothing, whereby the contractors for clothing are speedily paid for their work?

I am afraid that I am not able to add to the answer on this subject which I gave to the hon. Member yesterday.

Are the persons referred to agents of the War Office or agents of the agent of the War Office?

I have told my hon. Friend that they were not agents of the War Office. They must be agents of the contractor to the War Office.
