HC Deb 04 February 1915 vol 69 cc146-7
85. Mr. DUNCAN MILLAR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he can state the conditions which have been laid down for the recognition of Home Defence Associations by the War Office, the number of such associations which have been recognised throughout the country, and the number of men enrolled in them?

Mr. TENNANT

These conditions have already been made public, but I can send my hon. Friend a copy of the circular letter if he wishes. It is not considered desirable to make public the number of associations which have received recognition or the number of men enrolled.

Mr. MILLAR

Will the right hon. Gentleman send me a copy of the circular letter?

Mr. TENNANT

I will.
