HC Deb 23 December 1915 vol 77 cc598-9
24. Mr. PARTINGTON

asked the President of the Local Government Board if his attention has been drawn to the order of ejectment of the occupants of four houses at Clayton, Bradford; and whether the Increase of Kent and Mortgage Interest (War Restrictions) Bill will be retrospective so as to cover cases of this kind?

Mr. HAYES FISHER

The hon. Member has been good enough to furnish my right hon. Friend with some particulars of the cases referred to. At the instance of the Government, an Amendment has been made in the Bill which will deal with ejectment orders made but not executed at the time the Bill passes.
