asked the President of the Board of Education the number of schools, and their total authorised accommodation, which are recognised as temporary elementary schools in London; and whether the total number of these authorised school places exceeds the number of similar places a year previously?

The number of public elementary schools in London recognised as temporary on 31st March, 1915, was thirty-four, with accommodation for 10,976 children; the corresponding numbers on the 31st March, 1914, were thirty-eight and 11,891.
