HC Deb 21 April 1915 vol 71 cc265-6
28. Mr. HOGGE

asked the President of the Board of Trade if the Railway Executive Committee are contemplating the withdrawal of dining cars from all main lines trains throughout the railway systems of the country?

Mr. ROBERTSON

I am informed by the Railway Executive Committee that, while the railway companies have had under consideration the question of the withdrawal of dining cars from main line trains, it is not their present intention to take any steps in this direction.

Mr. HOGGE

Shall we have sufficient warning?
