HC Deb 21 April 1915 vol 71 c261
49. Mr. GEORGE TERRELL

asked the Prime Minister whether he is now prepared to make any statement as to the duration of the present Parliament or the date of the next General Election?

50. Mr. FELL

asked the Prime Minister if he proposes to make any statement during this period of the Session of the intentions of the Government with regard to the General Election?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I am not able to make a statement on this matter at the present time.

Mr. TERRELL

Would it not tend to a closer co-operation of all Members of this House if the General Election were now definitely postponed for a year?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I must refer the hon. Gentleman to his own leaders first of all.
